Vaasa Veteran Car Society’s May Day Drive is for everyone and the whole family!
Participating veteran cars gather at Prisma Liisanlehto (Elementtitehtaantie 1, Vaasa) and the parade will end by 13hrs at the Car museum. The season’s opening of the Museum will be celebrated with dance performances and live music!
Veteran vehicles assemble in the Prisma front yard parking lot between 10 and 11:45. Departure is at 11:45. Traffic lights are turned off until 13hrs.

Driving route:
Prisma – Kanavasillantie – Yhdystie – Huutoniementie – Ruutikellarintie – Rantamaantie – Hietalahdenkatu – Koulukatu – Vaasanpuistikko – Sepänkyläntie – Opistokatu – Klemettilänraide – Myllykatu 18, Vaasan Auto- ja Moottorimuseo.
Driving directions:
Traffic rules must be followed! Keep a short distance to the driver in front so that other vehicles will not enter the parade line and it does not stretch.
In the city centre, traffic is directed to allow veteran vehicles to drive without interruption at intersections. All traffic lights along the route flash yellow.
The driving route is marked with signs and indicates the driving direction with an arrow.
At the museum:
Vaasa Car and Motor Museum opens on May Day. Open from 10 to 17.
Coffee, sweet buns, drinks, sausage and other refreshments are served.
All three floors of the museum are open to visit.
Museum ticket 10€/person. Children under 12 years accompanied by adults without admission fee.
Free entry for holder of the SAHK/Vaasan veteraaniautoseura membership card.
The program features a dance performance by Peurat ajovaloissa, accompanied to the music by The Sixties.
